Our wild caught albacore tuna is caught in Oregon and is a high quality, sashimi grade tuna. Albacore is a mild and very delicate species of tuna that becomes firm once cooked. Albacore tuna is packed full of protein and selenium and is also a great heart healthy source of omega-3’s. Each tuna loin is skinless, boneless.  Due to the wild caught nature of this product, weight range options are variable on this product.

How to cook Albacore Tuna Loins

Loins are wedge-shaped cuts that are best cooked coated in olive oil and a light spice rub then grilled, poached or seared at a low-medium temperature. Tuna should still be slightly pink inside (or served raw) to preserve moisture, texture, and flavor.
